Client Agreement

Effective Date: [TO BE FILLED] Last Updated: 2026-07-21

This Client Agreement ("Agreement") applies specifically to you if you register on WorkQuora to post jobs and hire workers ("client", "you"). It supplements — and does not replace — our Terms & Conditions, which also apply to you.

1. Your role as a client

You use WorkQuora to describe work you need done, receive proposals from independent workers, and hire one to complete it. WorkQuora is not the party performing the work — the worker you hire is an independent contractor, not a WorkQuora employee or agent, as set out fully in our Worker Agreement and Disclaimer. Your contract for the work performed is directly with the worker you accept, not with WorkQuora.

2. Posting a job

You are responsible for the accuracy of your job posting — the description, budget, and location you provide. Job postings must comply with our Community Guidelines; you may not post jobs that are illegal, misleading, or that attempt to solicit off-platform arrangements to avoid Platform fees.

3. Identity verification

As of this version of the Platform, clients are not required to complete identity (KYC) verification to post a job, fund payment, or message a worker — only workers are subject to mandatory KYC. WorkQuora may introduce client verification requirements in the future; if so, this Agreement will be updated accordingly.

4. Payment and escrow

When you accept a proposal, you fund the job through WorkQuora's payment gateway partner, Razorpay. Your payment is held in escrow by WorkQuora and is released to the worker only once the job is marked complete by both you and the worker. You authorize WorkQuora to hold and release funds on your behalf in this manner. WorkQuora's commission (10% of the job value plus 18% GST on that commission) is deducted from the worker's payout, not added on top of your budget — see our Refund Policy for the full breakdown.

5. Cancellations and refunds

If you need to cancel a job after accepting a proposal, the refund you receive depends on the stage the job had reached — see our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy, both of which form part of this Agreement.

6. Chat and communication

Once you have accepted a proposal (or messaged a candidate first), you can message that worker about the job. Messaging is scoped to the job and closes to new messages once the job is completed or cancelled, though history remains viewable for a limited period as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Ratings

After a job is completed, you may rate and review the worker, and the worker may rate and review you. Reviews must reflect an actual completed interaction and comply with our Community Guidelines.

8. Your responsibilities as a client

You agree to: provide a safe environment for the worker to perform the agreed work at the location you specify; pay the agreed amount through the Platform rather than attempting to negotiate an off-platform payment to avoid commission; communicate job requirements accurately; and not misuse the dispute or refund process to obtain services without paying for them. WorkQuora may suspend your account for conduct that violates this Agreement, our Terms, or our Community Guidelines.

9. No guarantee of outcome

WorkQuora does not guarantee that a worker will accept your job, that work will be completed to your satisfaction, or the quality, timeliness, or safety of the work performed. WorkQuora's role is limited to facilitating discovery, communication, and payment handling — see our Disclaimer for the complete scope of this limitation.

10. Disputes

If you have a disagreement with a worker about completed or in-progress work, you may raise a dispute through the Platform as described in our Terms & Conditions and Grievance Redressal Policy. WorkQuora will review the matter but is not obligated to act as an arbitrator of the underlying service dispute between you and the worker.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy. Any job you have already funded must be resolved (completed, refunded, or otherwise closed) before your account can be deleted.

12. Acknowledgement

By registering as a client on WorkQuora, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to this Agreement, the Terms & Conditions, the Privacy Policy, the Cancellation and Refund Policies, and the Community Guidelines, each of which is incorporated by reference.
